My favorite low maintenance indoor plants that will give you color and/or blooms all year! 🪴🌺

1. Anthuriums (come in lots of colors) - give bright light and gentle fertilizer to keep them bright

2. Oxalis (come in purple or green) and they give off little white / pink flowers. Plus their purple leaves open and close with light and water. Keep them hydrated to keep them happy.

3. Kalanchoe are an easy to care for succulent. Let them dry out before watering.

4. Moon cactus and various succulents will keep color and bloom throughout the year.

5. Domino lilies (variegated peace lilies) will continue to bloom as long as you water consistently.

6. African violets flowers will bloom and fade and bloom again.

7. Aglaonema/ Chinese Evergreen come in a variety of striking colors and are very low maintenance

8. Calls lilies are a personal favorite and these will bloom twice a year for an extended time with light, consistent watering, and seasonal fertilizer.

Plants respond to photoperiodism (the lengthening of daylight), which triggers a cascade of hormones that tell roots to push deeper, buds to swell, and leaves to unfurl toward the light. The spring equinox is the heartbeat of our ecosystem. And the official start of the growing season. 🌱
